“Happy Waggs” Refers to Skylar Waggoner and Sarah Fugman

Thank you for choosing Happy Waggs! Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions before using our dog care services. By booking or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Services Provided
Happy Waggs offers a range of dog care services, including but not limited to:

Dog Walking

Pet Sitting

Dog Grooming (Bathing, Brushing, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and toe nails only.)

Boarding

Daycare

Training

2. Booking and Payment

Booking: All services must be booked in advance. You can book services through our website, phone, or email.

Payment: Payment for services is required at the time of booking or upon completion of services, unless otherwise specified. Accepted payment methods include Cash or Bank Transfer, Credit options available soon.

Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the booked services. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be refunded in full. No refunds will be given once the service has been completed.
3. Client Responsibilities

Health and Safety: Clients must disclose any known health issues, allergies, or medical conditions of their pets before the service begins. This includes providing any necessary medications or instructions for administering them.

Behavioral Concerns: You must inform us of any behavioral issues or aggression that your pet may have toward people, other animals, or situations. We reserve the right to refuse services if we believe your pet poses a risk to our staff, other pets, or itself.

Proper Identification: All pets should wear proper identification, including tags with a name, phone number, and any relevant medical details. It is recommended that pets also have microchips.
4. Pet Care Policies

Feeding and Medication: If you require us to administer medications or specific feeding instructions, these must be provided in writing before the service begins.

Vaccination Requirements: For the safety of all pets, we require that all dogs be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Proof of vaccination must be provided prior to service.

Health and Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, we will contact you immediately. If we are unable to reach you, we will take your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic at your expense.

Accidents or Injury: While we take great care in handling your pet, accidents can happen. By using our services, you agree that [Your Business Name] is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illness to your pet, except in cases of negligence or intentional misconduct.
5. Photo and Social Media Release
By signing this agreement, you consent to Happy Waggs using photos and videos of your dog for marketing and promotional purposes, including on our website and social media platforms. If you do not wish for us to use photos of your pet, please indicate so in the "Photo Consent" section on our client form.
6. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. All personal details you provide will be kept confidential and will only be used to deliver services and communicate with you regarding your pet’s care.
7. Liability and Indemnification
By using our services, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Happy Waggs, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, damages, or costs resulting from the use of our services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services at any time if we believe the safety or well-being of the pet, our staff, or other clients is at risk. In such cases, you will be notified, and you will be refunded for any unused portion of services.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We may update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them. Continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand and Queenstown lake district city council, and any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.
